hi everyone!
happy hump day =) i hope y’all are having a great week so far. i’ve seriously been so busy that i’m having one of those weeks where i’m wondering how i was working full-time and doing this before! but on to the good stuff…
i know i’ve mentioned this before, but i can’t get over how amazing it is to be doing something that i love and meeting some of the coolest people! Stephen and i were just so touched by this family and we’re so lucky to have met them. the mom, Dana, is a friend of one of our past clients and contacted me a few weeks ago to schedule this shoot. we talked back and forth via email a few times and i think once on the phone. and i just knew she was good people =)
we decided to do the photo shoot on the Pomona College campus at the Claremont Colleges. and it was so beautiful! special thanks to Erin for telling me about this spot!
so, the minute i met Dana and Manuel’s kids i was in love! they are all so precious! Joey is the oldest, then Natalie, Danny & AJ.
Joey & Natalie were a little bit shy at first, as most kids are, but when they saw that there was grass to run around in and trees to climb, they forgot about that!
before i knew it, they were running the show! i love it when the kids start getting creative and coming up with ideas for the photos =) this was one of Natalie’s ideas…
here are a few of my fave’s that Stephen captured…
Natalie had me cracking up with this face she makes!
and little Danny had some funny faces of his own…so darn cute!
and a few more that i loved… i couldn’t decide, so you guys get to see them all! =)
we wanted to get some shots of mom and dad and they were joking about how long it had been since they had spent that much time looking at each other…i can only imagine with 4 kids! they are such a cute couple =)
thank you again so much, Dana & Manuel, for giving us this opportunity! more to come soon =) we wish you the best!
xoxo

p.s. don’t forget to check out the Fall Exclusive!! and i will be doing a post tomorrow about the Holiday Mini Sessions =) i love this time of year!
THANK YOU JESS! These are wonderful! Everyone had so much fun despite Danny feeling a little down. I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures =)
Wow Jess…your hubby has the “eye” too! He got some sweet shots. Pretty soon you’ll be the dynamic duo shooting weddings, : )
Very nice work and cute family.
