Artist Photo Shoot – Pasadena

i started doing my taxes today…not a fan.  i kind of miss the days of just being an employee and having to enter my W-2 info 🙂  now, with two businesses, our tax return looks more like an encyclopedia.  and it gives me a major headache.  the good news…we should be getting money back!  so i guess that will make it all worth it.  i still have a ways to go though…

anyway, i wanted to introduce you all to Jillian today.  i had such an amazing time with this girl yesterday!  i’ve known her for a few years.  she went to school with my brother.  they were best friends and in all of the school plays and musicals together 🙂  but i never really got a chance to know her being that i didn’t live at home anymore.  she emailed me the other day and told me that she had graduated from college already, and was moving to New York to pursue her dream!  she found a place to stay, was in the process of packing everything up, but didn’t have any headshots.  so she asked me if i would do them for her, and of course i said yes!

we met in Pasadena at the Plaza Las Fuentes, where i had done my very first headshot photo shoot last year.  we started in that area, taking photos around the beautiful church and City Hall.

then we walked down Colorado Blvd. just stopping whenever we found a good spot.  i have to say this brick wall was my fave!

the sun was starting to set, and the light was reflecting off of a glass building across the street.  perfection 🙂
