today i’m SO excited to introduce you to baby Lupin! i’ve already talked a little bit about his amazing mama, Sussie, here on the blog. Stephen and i had the honor of photographing her wedding last year and i shared the story of how we met 🙂
i showed up at the hospital when Sussie went into labor in May. she was like the most relaxed person in labor i had ever seen. she was making jokes and laughing, texting with friends and family, and saying things like “was that a contraction?” love you girl! it reminded me of the Friends episode where Rachel is in labor and everyone keeps getting to have their babies first. There is the one woman who comes in and hardly makes a sound during her contractions…lol. That was Sus 🙂
she had a whole case of coconut water, so of course i had to document that…free advertisement for Cadia 🙂
due to some complications, i wasn’t able to be there for the birth as originally planned, but everyone was healthy and great & i got to go see them immediately following…

girl, thank you so much for allowing me to be present (with my camera, no less!) during such a special, intimate time. i love you and can’t wait to see you for more photos of Lupin next week! yay!
