when my brother asked me to do his new headshot photos, i was so honored. and by honored, i mean extremely nervous 🙂 we decided to do one session in studio first…just for fun! i have been wanting to practice some in-studio shots for a while now, and this seemed like a perfect opportunity. i am a huge fan of Peter Hurley‘s work, with his clean, white backgrounds and the way he works with his clients. Matt also loved his work, so we used Peter as a role model for the session. i still have a LONG way to go before i feel remotely comfortable with all of those big lights & i could critique the hell out of my images, but i think this was a good start at least. i had a lot of fun & i learned a lot just by getting out there and doing it. here are some of my faves from the day…
