good morning from Seattle! my favorite city and future home (hopefully, haha). my boys and i are about to head out to explore and show Zach all of the amazing sites, but i wanted to share some photos from Baby Lia’s session first!
i know i’ve said it before, but i’ll probably say it a hundred more times…i LOVE what i do! and every time i get to work with amazing families like this one, i am reminded why 🙂 Kristen and Jeff are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, not to mention a gorgeous couple 😉 i have featured them on the blog a few of times. Stephen and i had the incredible honor of photographing their beautiful wedding last year. then, when i found out that Kristen was pregnant with their 2nd and she wanted me to do maternity pictures, i was ecstatic! i love being a part of my wedding couples’ lives as their family grows. so special. there are no words.
Baby Lia was born on July 20, 2012 and is one of the most beautiful babies i have ever seen. i kept staring at her during her newborn session because i was mesmerized by how she seemed so much older than she really is…then i remembered i was supposed to be taking pictures 🙂 her smiles and facial expressions were just too much. it also made me realize how quickly Zach has grown up already. i was struggling to remember him when he was first born, and it’s only been 6 months! yikes.
anyway, here are some of my faves from my day with Baby Lia and her awesome family…
i also got to have some fun with big brother Caleb! i can’t get over how much he has changed in one year…
