sometimes people come into your life at just the right time. that was the case with this beautiful family that i get to introduce you all to today…
Stephen and i were thinking about moving up to Lake Arrowhead, so we came up here for a couple of weeks in May to try it out and see how we liked it. i wasn’t feeling it at first. it was too quiet up here. i didn’t know anyone. and i felt so far away from everyone and everything. we had met the neighbors before, but there was never really more than a casual greeting exchanged. this time, they saw us moving half of our house in (welcome to being a new parent), so they knew something was up. and we were here for longer than a weekend, so we had the opportunity to get to know them a little better. and we just LOVED them! they have 2 adorable kids, Luke and Madelyne…
precious right?! now that we have been up here for a couple of months, we’ve been able to spend a little more time with them, and i just feel so grateful that they not only came into our lives…but also that they are right next door! we couldn’t ask for more awesome neighbors and wonderful new friends.

These are so awesome. What a beautiful family. They are all soooo photogenic. Luke & Madelyn look like twins! I never really had a chance to see them up close like that.
