as i sit here writing this post, i just can’t get over how quickly time is passing. meet Jimmy, Kristin, and little Mikey…
Jimmy is one of Stephen’s cousins. definitely one of his closest cousins. they are really close in age, so they grew up together…and even went to school together. Jimmy was one of Stephen’s groomsmen in our wedding a few years ago. and i have had the privilege of getting to know him and his amazing wife, Kristin, over the last few years. i remember them trying to get pregnant at the same time we were. and those hopeful months that ended in one negative pregnancy test after another. but not too long after we found out i was pregnant with Zach, they got the amazing news that they were going to have a baby, too! and now Zach and his cousin Mikey are about the same age difference and Jimmy and Stephen. and we can’t get over how cool it is that they get to grow up together too!
last weekend, i had the honor of capturing Mikey’s baby dedication at Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda, CA, where Jimmy’s dad pastors. it was a beautiful little ceremony and i’m so glad i could be a part of it. here are some of my favorites from the day.

Totally love these great pics!! I so remember the Jimmy and Stevie that you mention at the beginning of the blog…what incredibly cute little guys they were indeed…and what awesome men they have become as well! Great husbands, amazing dads and still special friends. I have to admit to being one grateful…and impressed…dad, uncle and papa. So blessed to see the next generation(s) coming along and moving through life with such character and grace. Love them all. Great job, Jess…you are an amazing photographer, mother and wife!
