happy Tuesday!
i’m not sure where to even start with today’s post. i introduced my Aunt Jill on the blog over two years ago. i shared how she is one of my favorite people, and just how special she is to me. i didn’t share the rough road she has been down. but, without going into detail, let me just say that her story amazes me! she is one of the strongest people i know. and i’ve just been waiting for the day when she would find someone to just love life with! she deserves it. Michelle makes her SO incredibly happy! when i first heard about Michelle, i knew she was the type of person i would love to be around. the stories i heard were full of adventure! and, when we first met Michelle, no surprise…we fell in love with her immediately. her sweetness, her genuineness, and her beautiful soul just radiate from her.
when Jill & Michelle asked Stephen and i to capture their special day, we couldn’t have been more honored or excited! and what a day it was! it was so incredibly beautiful and intimate. we started at Hotel Laguna, where the beautiful brides got ready…

the ceremony was in Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach, overlooking the ocean. can you say AMAZING! my mom officiated, my brother & cousin sang, my sister did the gorgeous makeup for the brides…it was a family affair.

after the ceremony, we headed to the beach for some sunset pictures…
the beautiful reception was hosted by my Grandpa & Joanne at Las Brisas in Laguna. Joanne also did an amazing job of coordinating the entire day!
the best part of the reception was when everyone started singing “We Are Young” by Fun…flash mob style! so much fun!!!

Omg! Amazing! In tears now, looking at these amazing pics of Jill n Michelle, my BFF! I love every picture! You guys just know instinctively what is going to make for a beautiful shot! This was an amazing day and I saw you two working in unison, like a dance, if you will! I feel blessed to be a part of this day, to make these memories. I’m forever grateful to you all, for accepting Michelle into your lives but also so proud that Michelle is now a part of an amazing family whom I love with every fiber of my being. I love you all!
