Wow. It’s been a long time since I sat down to write a blog post. What a crazy busy season it’s been! Stephen and I decided to take the night off tonight and we went on a date….to a movie! Which is now very much a luxury item 🙂
From as young as I can remember, I went to the movies almost every single weekend. Then, Zach was born! In the last 2 years, we’ve been to 3 movies. At least they were all great movies! But now I really cherish that time to escape into an awesome story…with popcorn, of course.
Tonight, we saw About Time. I absolutely recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet. It was a beautiful story about love and family and life. It made me laugh. It made me think. It made me cry. It made me appreciate even more what a gift it is that I get to capture precious moments in time for people. I’m so thankful.
So, I wanted to sit down and do a little tribute to all of the unbelievable people that I got to work with this year. Thank you to all of you for being so special to me, and for being a part of my story. I am so blessed!
To all of the beautiful brides, grooms, moms, dads, kids, business owners, models, co-workers & teams that were in front of my camera this year…THANK YOU for an unforgettable year 🙂

Jess & Stephen, I have said it a million times and yet I will continue to scream it from the mountain tops… you two are hands down some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. Your spirits are filled with love and joy and life and you have managed to find a way through your photography to remind each of us just how much joy life can be.
