david white

in one word…..”Wow!”

Now for a few more words….you have caught the essence and spirit of two of the most important people in my life! Thank-you!

Eve

Jess–

I’m ECSTATIC looking at these photos. I’m completely blown away! Thank you for all your comments and thoughts too–it’s such a pleasure to see and hear what the shoot was like from your POV. I think we (mothers) need to realize the only agenda we should have in these moments is having FUN! (Another reason the posed photo shoots of my childhood were so abhorrent–how is THAT fun!?) Photography like YOURS captures us in our element because you allow us the freedom to express our bouyancy through movement. Thank you to you and Stephen.

Blessings,
Eve

Christina, thank you so much! And thank you for taking the time to read it =)

David, I am so glad that I was able to capture what you see and love. That is my passion and goal when photographing people, so that means so much to me!

Eve – Yay! I am SO SO happy that you like them. There are plenty more coming! I actually had a really hard time deciding which ones to post because you guys are just so photogenic in all of them =)

Cindy

Wow! Jess…those are beautiful! Boy, you truly captured Eve’s free spirit. (But not the part where she’s telling me to
tuck my tailbone and engage my lower abs…she’s a strict instructor…I love it!) Morgan looks like a typical goof ball
kid I love how the pictures captured their playfulness. Great job honey, and I always love reading your blogs!

Love you,
mom

Jess, you’re so awesome to post tear ideas, thanks a million! I’ve been shooting weddings now for two years and Ive learned through trial, error (and everything in between) that communication and preparedness is key.
I myself don’t own a 70-200mm but I rent it every time. (Samy’s Camera is a great place to rent from). The other two lenses that are always in my bag are my 10-20mm and my 50mm 1.4… ya gotta love that 50mm!!!!! 🙂
Thanks again for sharing this very important info with us, Jess!!!!

Christina

Hey Jess,
Beautiful shots as usual and good for you to go out there and just go for it. You are such an inspiration!! Blessings in all you do!!!

Thanks for the tips! I’ve got my first wedding coming up and got the Tamron 70-200mm just for it.

Jess Robertson

Awesome Lucas! Good luck! Thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂

WHAT CAN I SAY OTHER THAN THESE ARE GREAT PICTURES OF YOUR FAMILY.
YOU ALL JUST RADIATE HAPPINESS AND THAT IS WHAT IS WISHED FOR YOU.
I HAVE ONE QUESTION. HOW DID YOU GET SHAI TO SMILE? PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE SECRET.
ALWAYS LOVE SEEING PICTURES OF ALL OF YOU SO KEEP THEM COMING

Lorelei

Gorgeous photos! I still need to call you to set up an appointment, don’t I?!

Paula, thank you so much for your sweet words! You have a beautiful family so they make my job easy =)

Marilyn, how are you? I don’t think I’ve seen you since that Reel Angels fundraiser almost 5 years ago! Thank you so much for your comment =) The secret to getting Shai to smile was his love for the Dodgers. All Ari & Kevin needed to say was “Go Dodgers!” and that worked just about every time..haha!

Cindy

OMG! He is just beautiful! I bet his personality is amazing…he looks so animated! Good pics hon, you captured him, Kevin, and Ari well.
