last friday, i did my 1st engagement shoot, and it seriously could not have been more fun! i met Channing a couple of years ago at the Starbucks by my house. she would make me laugh every morning because she would see my car turning at the light and try to have my drink ready by the time i walked in. it was hysterical! but enough about me, here’s a brief history of this awesome couple, Channing & Joe.
Channing grew up in the small town of Lake Arrowhead, CA. she eventually worked for the grocery store in town, Jensen’s, and that’s where she met Joe. he was being his usual goofball self when he ended up in her checkout line. i doubt he was reading this magazine though!
they were doing a little flirting, and he thought she was pretty cute, so he invited her to a party he was headed to. Channing really had no intention of going, but at the last minute decided ‘why not?!’ and she will always be grateful that she did.
when trying to decide on a location for their engagement pictures, Lake Arrowhead was the 1st thing that came to mind. while we made sure to capture all of the beauty of the location…
we also had to return to Jensen’s, where it all began, and take a few photos there. those were some of my favorite!
Joe & Channing are getting married in Las Vegas in September. congratulations you two! i wish you both the best!
