i had the wonderful honor of meeting Nancy, the owner of Something Blue, a couple of months ago. i was introduced to her by another friend that does beautiful invitations, as well, Rachel of Rock, Paper, Scissors Design. Rachel referred me to Nancy when i asked her about getting materials to create the DVD holders for my clients.
Nancy and i finally got a chance to sit down to design the DVD holders last month, and they turned out beautiful! i was so impressed, not only with her work, but just by how sweet and giving she was of her time and talents. she’s good people, as i like to say =)
during the few trips that i made to her adorable store in Redlands, we started talking about photographing some of HER awesome work! and that’s just what we did =)
just over a week ago, Stephen and i went down there and took pictures of some of her creations. this was so different from anything i have done so far! Stephen did an amazing job with the lighting in the store, and Nancy created settings to showcase the invitations. these are some of my faves…
some of these will be featured on her website in the near future, so be sure to check it out: Something Blue
thanks again, Nancy, for all of your help!
xoxo

I have been in business for years, but I feel as if I’m recreating my business with the help of Jess and Stephen! Jess has an amazing eye for details – and she works until she gets just the shot she has imagined in that creative mind of hers. I am so lucky our paths have crossed – there are no accidents in this marvelous universe of ours.
Ooooh, pretty!!
Good job Jess. It is pretty clear that you are extremely versitile in your work. You do have an amzing eye for detail and well, just about everything!
