well it’s not necessarily the tomorrow that i promised in my last post! haha! how do these days get away from us so quickly? i remember being a little kid and one day just feeling like a lifetime! i miss that sometimes =)
anyway, the last few days have been pretty crazy. like i mentioned, graduations and birthday parties galore right now! and it seems as if the whole month is going to be like this. it’s great to see my awesome family so much, though. that makes all of the chaos worth it! this last Sunday, i was so lucky to not only see them at a family birthday gathering for all of the May & June birthdays, but i also got to do a headshot photo shoot with my bro & sis in old town Pasadena!
i am scheduled to do a few headshot shoots this month, so i thought i better get some practice! and who better to practice on than those you know and love =) my awesome hubby came along with me, too, and took some video in addition to getting some great shots himself! yay baby!
for those of you that haven’t been to old town Pasadena , you have to go sometime! it’s one of my favorite LA spots. we ended up doing the entire shoot at this place called Plaza Las Fuentes. i went to dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen there a few years back, and just thought this place was gorgeous! there are all of these cool fountains and a gorgeous church that looks like it came right out of Europe. it’s just a cool, and somewhat hidden, spot.
i know how much most people hate those close-up shots of their face, but i just thought they looked great in these! nikki, i don’t care what you say, you are beautiful! and now the whole world knows =)
so, once we took care of business, we did some fun shots, like the one below…this is one of my faves!
and nik wanted a photo with a palm tree…she loves palm trees!
thanks again you two for letting me practice on you for a couple of hours. we had so much fun =) love you guys!
