We meet too many brides that regret their choice for a wedding photographer. Whether their personalities didn’t click, the style wasn’t what they wanted, the quality of their work was poor, or they simply didn’t get what they were promised. Regardless of the reason, we don’t want that to be YOU!
We can’t stress enough how important it is to do your research before choosing your wedding photographer. Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions! After all, when all is said and done, your pictures (and maybe your wedding video) are what remain from your special day.
It is an incredible honor for us to capture your wedding. Even though we love to have fun, we want you to know that we take it very seriously!
Here’s a little bit about what to expect during your time with us:
We are a boutique wedding company
We love to spend time getting to know each of our couples, so we work with a limited number of brides and grooms per year. We try to meet each one of our couples as soon as possible (preferably over coffee), but we realize that isn’t always realistic. For our couples that live too far away, we hope you like Skype or FaceTime! We have to see your beautiful faces one way or another.
We love elopements and intimate weddings
In the 5 years that we’ve been photographing weddings, we’ve discovered how much we adore intimate weddings. Instead of the focus being on your hundreds of guests, the focus is on you and your love. And we can’t think of anything better. That being said, we are available for larger weddings, as well as travel for destination weddings.
We offer and encourage custom Wedding Collections
While we offer pre-designed collections, we understand that each couple is unique. Therefore, we encourage you to communicate your specific needs and desires with us so that we can create the perfect custom Wedding Collection for you.
We love Engagement Sessions
We believe that having an engagement session is important for several reasons! This time allows you, as a couple, to get comfortable in front of the camera with us, and figure out how we work best together before your big day. In addition, we can learn about all of your fun little quirks, like the fact that you like your left side more than your right side or hold hands the cutest way! Engagement sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting, while creating some fun & memorable images for your home.
We love all of the details
We love the details! And we like to do whatever we can to help you plan the perfect day. We aren’t just going to show up on your wedding day to take pictures. We want to be involved in as many aspects of your special day as possible; whether you need help choosing a location or advice on flowers. And because Jess has a major Type A personality, don’t be surprised if you get detailed questionnaires and a schedule outlining your wedding day. We take pride in playing a part in helping your day go as smoothly as possible.
Our involvement doesn’t end after “I Do”
In the weeks following your wedding, we will be in touch to deliver your final images, make decisions regarding your album and prints, and so much more! We love continuing a relationship with our couples long after you say “I Do”. In fact, one of our favorite things in the world is getting that call from a past couple, saying that they are expecting their first child! We adore capturing that next phase in your life and offer special Maternity and Newborn Collections for our wedding couples.
