Waves, Sand & Crazy Fun! {Newport Beach Photographer}

Happy Monday!

hope you all had a great weekend!  we had an awesome bridal shoot on Saturday that i’ll be sharing later this week. then, yesterday, we had our photography mastermind meeting which was a blast!  we did a WPPI recap & a photo exercise, in addition to just enjoying each other’s company.  and, of course, i’ll be sharing some photos from our photo exercise with you later this week too!

but today i want to introduce you to a very special family.  as i mentioned in their Sneak Peek post last week, i’ve known them since i was about 8 years old.  (right, Laura?)

David, Laura, Andrew & Sarah have been a part of my life for most of my life.  Laura & my mom have been best friends for almost 20 years now.  Andrew and my brother are like brothers.  growing up, we always lived a few minutes from each other.  we went to church together.  Andrew & Sarah went to school with my brother and sister.  you get the idea.  we were together…a LOT! 🙂  and now Andrew is going to college in Boston, Sarah is graduating from high school…and, let’s face it, that makes me feel pretty old!

when Laura mentioned that Andrew was coming home for a week for Spring break, the first thing she said was “i wanna do a family photo shoot!”  of course, i couldn’t feel more honored.  they chose the beach because it’s one of their favorite places to be…in fact, they plan on moving there in the very near future.  i will be visiting you guys!

one of the things that was really cool for me was seeing Andrew & Sarah together.  i haven’t spent a lot of time with them recently, so the last thing i remember was them driving each other crazy! haha!  it’s so cute because you can tell they really love each other and have so much fun together now 🙂
