Angel Stadium Engagement Session! {Orange County Wedding Photographer}

Stephen and i had the A-MA-ZING honor of photographing this awesome couple yesterday at one of the coolest places…Angel Stadium!

Nataley & Adam are getting married on October 8th, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their special day πŸ™‚ it has been so much fun getting to know them over the last few months.

when we started talking about their engagement session, the first place that they thought of was Angel Stadium. they are two of the biggest Angel fans i know, and that’s saying a lot considering the family that i come from.

fun fact, for those of you that don’t know, my maiden name is actually “Angel” πŸ™‚ and i come from a long line of hard core Angel fans. i’m talking the kind of fans that have season tickets and sit at the game, while listening to the game on their headphones & recording every play on some special baseball pad.

anyway, Nataley and Adam can rattle off stats and players like it’s no one’s business! they very clearly remember their first Angel game together in 2004. the Angels were playing against the Cubs, and they sat out in right field. they even pointed out their exact seats to us! when they initially suggested this location, i honestly didn’t know if i’d be able to make it happen. but a few phone calls later we were good to go!

as we arrived at the stadium yesterday, i actually felt nervous. i don’t typically get nervous before a shoot, but this was epic (as Stephen would say). this isn’t something you get to do everyday. i soon forgot about my nervousness when Nataley & Adam got there and had us cracking up in no time. Nataley is an amazing storyteller. every time i talk to her, she has a great story to tell. and even if there’s not much to the story, she makes it amazing. i love her.

we entered the park and were in awe of how different it felt to be there when no one else was there!

check out Nataley’s sexy red heels!

she actually made these on her own with spray glue and red glitter, because she couldn’t find any that she liked.Β  Nataley, have i mentioned that creative people like yourself make me sick? πŸ™‚ i’m just jealous, really.

a little later, we walked down to the field and spent some time taking photos in the dugout and outfield.

i have to admit, my nervousness came back a little the minute we got down there. it’s like i was star struck…by a baseball field.

here are a few more of my faves…

you know you’re a fan when…

on our way out, we decided to head over to the Big “A” and take a few photos there.

Nataley and Adam…you two are so awesome and Stephen and i can’t wait for your big day!

xoxo
