happy summer everyone!
i don’t know about where you live, but it definitely feels like summer here! it welcomed us with a whopping 96 degrees yesterday 🙁 this is when i REALLY miss the pacific northwest.
i have a couple of exciting announcements today, but i’m going to start with the most exciting one…Stephen and i are pregnant! i’m about 11 weeks along and, i’m not gonna lie, it’s been a little rough so far. i wish i could say that “morning sickness” was only in the morning, and that i was one of those women that didn’t throw up throughout the day, but i can’t 🙂 so, i wanted to finally tell you guys why i haven’t been around much. as this first trimester comes to an end, i’m really praying that the nausea does too! and whether you like it or not, i’ll be sharing updates about Baby Robertson on the blog in the coming months 🙂
in other news, i could not be more honored to be featured on a VERY special blog today. this amazing woman, mother & photographer not only inspired me to start a business in photography, but has continued to be an inspiration ever since. Me Ra, i can’t thank you enough for everything you do! you are such a bright light and have such an amazing heart and beautiful gift. and the fact that you share it with others and use it to give people all over the world the gift of confidence is beyond words. so, when i say i couldn’t be more honored to be featured on your blog, i couldn’t mean that more! if you guys haven’t seen it yet, here is the link to the post on Me Ra’s blog: Meet Jess Robertson – a Photographer and Amazing “Mommy-To-Be”

Life is precious and there is nothing I cherish more in my life than the wonderful blessing of being a mother and nothing more rewarding than the smile and laughter of a little one. The two of you are special in many ways and so inspiring. You will make great parents! I hope you are feeling better soon and can start enjoying that little miracle. Can’t wait to start seeing those pictures I am sure Stephen will be all over 😉
