Anthropologie Holiday Reading Hour – Pasadena

happy monday everyone!

i hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Stephen and i were so excited to get our tree decorated and just spend some quality time together.  we caught up on some TV shows (Dexter!).  and had lunch with awesome friends.  we had quite the little storm pass through here yesterday.  i thoroughly enjoyed it, but the thunder really scared my poor puppy =(

anyway, we’re super excited to share the Winter Promo video with everyone later tonight, but i couldn’t wait to share some photos from the Anthropologie Holiday Reading Hour event last Friday!

i couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of this special event!

Anthropologie stores all over the country are hosting reading hours for kids during the month of December, as well as collecting books and toys for local charities.  The Pasadena store is donating to BookEnds, a non-profit organization in Southern California.

i was invited to be a part of the Pasadena store reading hour last Friday and had a blast!  i got there early, so i had time to walk around and grab some photos of the featured books in various locations around the store.  i honestly don’t think you can find a more photogenic store than Anthro =)

while i was doing that, the staff was creating a comfy corner in the back of the store for the kids – with pillows, stuffed animals, cookies & juice boxes.  the staff at the Pasadena location were so nice and made me feel so welcome.  they did a wonderful job captivating the kids with the various stories!

i also enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful customers that came into the store to shop and stopped by to take part in the story time.

thank you again SO much to all of the staff & customers for allowing me to be there to capture these memories!  i enjoyed meeting and getting a chance to talk with each one of you!
