Warrior, The Help & Oak Glen

happy hump day!!!

so, when we got back from our babymoon on Friday night, we were both in some serious denial about getting back to reality.  i usually return from a trip and unpack right away, get laundry going, go grocery shopping, etc.  i didn’t want to do any of those things 🙂  so we left the suitcase unpacked.  let the dirty clothes pile up. and ate at restaurants for a couple more days.  it was awesome.

we went and saw “Warrior“, which i HIGHLY recommend!  one of the best movies i’ve seen in a long time.  if you’re like me and you had never even heard of the film, or seen a trailer, you can watch the trailer here: Warrior Trailer.

i also finished reading “The Help“, which was a wonderful book. if you’re looking for a good read, go pick it up! now i can finally go see the movie, if it’s still in theaters 🙂

and Stephen took me on a surprise trip up to Oak Glen.

Oak Glen
i hadn’t been up there since i was in elementary school.  we went on a field trip in 3rd or 4th grade and got to make apple cider and pick apples and all that fun stuff 🙂  anyway, it was so cool to go back, and i can’t wait to go again.  there is so much to see and do.

we didn’t have a lot of time, because we had a photo shoot, but we decided to pick raspberries on this trip…

afterwards, we shared an awesome piece of homemade apple pie at Law’s Coffee Shop.

it was a wonderful end to the awesome week.  and i’m happy to report that the suitcase has been unpacked, all of the laundry is done, and i finally went grocery shopping 🙂

hope you have a great Wednesday!

xoxo
