last week, i had the amazing honor of doing a photo session with one of my good friends and her precious family! she’s a photographer herself, which always makes me a little more nervous going into these things 🙂 but we had so much fun! the kids were especially great because they were getting to miss school to be there…and they got to go to Starbucks afterwards. haha! now that’s the way to do it. i’ll definitely have to remember that one 🙂
we met at Harveston Lake in Temecula. as many times as i’ve been to Temecula, i never even knew this place existed. it was such a gorgeous spot, with an awesome lake, beautiful trees & cool gazebos.
anyway, here are a few of my faves from the day…
everyone else was giving mom kisses, so i thought i’d ask Jake to do it also…just to get a reaction 🙂 he thought about it for a second at least…

Amazing photos Jess, you have captured the essence of my grandchilden, daughter and son-in-law. Christina always talks so highly of your work and now I see why! I especially love the pictures of the whole family at the lake kneeling down. You’ve caught the smile on Rich’s face as he’s turning to look at Jake. I can see the love in his eyes for Jacob.
