last weekend was my baby shower 🙂 i have to confess, i was always much more excited for that day than i was for my wedding shower. let’s face it, baby clothes and toys are SO much more fun than towels, spatulas and pots & pans 🙂 and the decor is much cuter, too!
i want to start by saying a HUGE thank you to my mom and sister for all of their hard work. we started planning this over 2 months ago, and they worked their butts off to make it amazing!
i also want to thank all of my friends and family for being there. it was so special to see everyone. believe me, i know how busy we all are, and it was a long way to drive for most of you, so just know how much i appreciate you all being there!

my mom made this awesome diaper tricycle…such a cute surprise 🙂
some other details i loved…
we played a few different games, but this one was by far my favorite! my mom and sis melted several different chocolate bars into diapers and passed them around to all of the guests. they had to try and figure out which chocolate bar it was simply by looking at it and smelling it. nothing better than a bunch of people sticking their faces into “poopy” diapers 🙂
Steph even got a little on her nose…haha!

Your mom and sis did such an amazing job!! Do you have any pictures of the gifts? If I am this upset about not being able to be there for the shower, I’m going to be a basket case at missing so much of his early growth that happens soooo fast! I love you, Mom
